About the Air Conditioning at Kylana's Escape

There are two central AC units in the villa:

• The 2nd floor unit controls both the 1st and 2nd floors.

• The 3rd floor has its own unit.

To keep the AC running smoothly and the indoor environment comfortable, please keep doors and windows closed as much as possible. This helps:

• Keep bugs out (we're in Central Florida, there are a lot of them! Including wasps!)

• Keep the air clean (the system filters indoor air)

• Prevent unnecessary strain on the AC system

What to Know:

• If a door/window is left open, the AC will switch to "away" mode-this means warmer temps in the summer and cooler temps in the winter.

• You won't be able to adjust the thermostat while something is open.

• Once everything is closed, the system will return to the previous temperature and you can make changes again.

You'll see yellow lights in the hall and kitchen when something's open:

• If you've closed everything but the lights are still on, try opening and closing the door or windows again, sometimes the sensors need a second to catch up.
